RAE’s Policy on Inactivity:
RAE’s goal as a guild is to consistently be considered and mentioned as a “Tier 1” guild. With this in mind, the High Command has drafted guidelines to address inactivity and its effect on guild performance.
The inactivity guidelines are as follows:
1. Self-reported inactivity will not result in a penalty to the member. Making the guild aware of inactivity
prevents you from being kicked. It also potentially allows other members to benefit from your absence by
occupying your resources. Please contact your squad leader before your absence.
Squad leaders shall inform their squad or the clan of the opportunity to occupy for resources on a first come,
first served basis.
2. Squad leaders will be responsible for inactivity checks. Biweekly checks are recommended, but this is at the
discretion of the squad leader.
a. Inactivity checks may be performed in a number of ways including:
i. In game messages
ii. In forum postings
iii. Occupation of mission critical facilities
3. Suspected inactivity may be reported by any guild member, but should only be reported to High
Command. Do not call out guild members on the in-game forum or the RAE forum.
4. Checking in with the RAE forum is also required. Orders from High Command and squad leaders as well as
planning initiatives are discussed on the forum. Members are responsible for being up to date with this
information. Activity on the forum is monitored and inactivity will be addressed as necessary.
a. Posting is not a requirement of activity.
b. Logging onto the forum is recorded in the “statistics” of the site. These statistics will be monitored.
5. Disciplinary action:
a. Members that have not been updated within four days of an update will be kicked. This timeframe may
be shortened during a Boss Strike at the discretion of High Command.
b. Members that do not respond to squad leader inactivity checks will be kicked after a period of four
days. Again, the timeframe may be shortened during a Boss Strike.
c. Re-admission to RAE is subject the approval of your appeal. Appeals must be posted on the RAE forum
for review by the High Command.
